Pacific Blue is one of Falcanna’s premier strains and she is a cornerstone to the Falcanna family breeding program. Pacific Blue created by Falcanna is an indica-dominant (80%) hybrid cross of (Pre-’98 Bubba Kush x DJ Short BlueBerry) backcrossed to Pre-’98 Bubba Kush.  Pacific Blue has a smell that is a mix of kelp and mint. She has a very strong pepper and earth flavor that brings you back to the ‘Kush’ hype of the 1990s in California. Pacific Blue affects different people in different ways, but generally yields a very balanced high and makes you happy immediately after smoking it.  Falcanna’s Pacific Blue is a good strain for mood relaxation, stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, migraine headaches and stomach issues. This light blueish bud with its smooth smoke and well-balanced high is our gold standard for quality and comparison of new genetics. When we smoke at home, 8 out of 10 times it is Pacific Blue in the bowl. Many women and quite a few men have reported back to us that a heightened desire for intimacy should be included in this strain’s high description.

Diesel Thai has a complex combination of smells that can be described as citrus candy, spicy pepper, and sandalwood incense. She leaves you with a thoughtful and energetic sativa high. Lacking the anxious buzz of many sativas, the uplifting high of this hybrid includes a balancing mellowness.  A favorite of Justin’s – he reports an inquisitive, introspective, and thoughtful high. We were gifted a cutting of Diesel Thai by a friendly old hippie living in the most remote areas of the Olympic Peninsula (The Hoko). He said the cross was an old Thai-stick seed he kept stashed away that grew into a male, crossed with a Sour Diesel cutting he got that originated on the east coast. While we operated a grow supply store between 2012 and 2016 we were privileged to try many varieties of good bud, and this friendly old man and his homegrown creation was a stand out for its potency, complex flavors and exceptional high.

Orange Blossom is one of Falcanna’s top selling cannabis strains.  Orange Blossom is a true hybrid cross of Orange Bud and OG Kush that leans slightly toward Indica but provides an even mix of Sativa and Indica traits.  She has small leaves and grows leggy in early flower but finishes in just over 8 weeks producing big aromatic buds almost aglow with pastel colors, beautifully curling pistols and playful running calyxes. As the strain name suggests, Orange Blossom has a sweet, pungent orange/citrus aroma and taste – more an orange creamsicle than sour tangerine – that makes you instantly happy after smoking it. Hints of sweet vanilla linger after the strong orange flavor. Orange Blossom is a good strain for mood enhancement, relaxation, inspiration, and general productivity. A great strain to take on a day of adventure.

Dutch Haze is one of Falcanna’s flagship cannabis strains, having grown it for 9 years.  Dutch Haze is a cross Falcanna bred of two classics: Silver Haze and Dutch Treat.  Dutch Haze has an unmistakable sharp, citrus aroma with a heavy lemony/fuel taste and makes you instantly energized after consumption. Dutch Haze is a high-octane strain and is popular with people who smoke before working out or partaking in difficult physical work. The pungent smoke is almost greasy and will burn your eyes like hash smoke. Lung expanding and heavy, Dutch Haze is most likely to be enjoyed by the experienced smoker. She is difficult to grow, is picky with her nutrients and is very stretchy, growing like a vine. But with ample netting for support and just the right care she produces prodigious harvests of the stickiest and smelliest buds imaginable.

Candy Queen is a cross Falcanna did between Candy Kush and Space Queen. With hints of hibiscus and fresh cut pears, this relaxing, clear-headed sativa-dominant hybrid emanates chill vibes and seems made for bright days. Offering a mental clarity that enables activity, it also provides a body high that is relaxing without being heavy. This strain both looks and smells deeply of mango, with a heavy coating of frost and an exhale that is light and sweet.

A cross between Pacific Blue and Pre ‘98 DJ Short Blueberry. We wanted to further explore the genetic potential of this line. Though the true blueberry flavor is present, and the flavor overall is much sweeter than a traditional hash plant, the berry hints are wrapped in a voluptuous spiced hash from the Pacific Blue. Likewise, the hashy flavor is light and creamy. The high from this selection is velvety in the overall feeling to the body and the mind is free to float around in mild amusement as the day turns a couple shades sunnier. A beautiful pastel purple hued flower with the lovely trichome coverage and density of Pacific Blue.

Gorilla Cookies is a cross between Gorilla Glue #4 and Forum Cut Girl Scout Cookies. Falcanna was able to get the original Forum Cut from San Francisco during the height of medical days. This selected cross is frosted with a consistent heavy coating of trichomes. The flavor harkens to the GG#4 skunkiness but with more of a sweet aftertaste (a bit like a sugar cookie!). All of our strains seem to have their little cult following and none more so than the Gorilla Cookies. Enjoy a nice, hard hitting, intense high starting with a unique buzz from the energizing effects of the Forum Cut Girl Scout Cookies. We have always tried to breed away from anxiety causing smoke, and we feel we’ve done well with Gorilla Cookies, but she is one of our more potent offerings. Take it slow until you get to know her!

Pacific Blue crossed with Purple Kush. This heavy-hitting strain has the pleasantness of Pacific Blue in the body with a little extra ‘let’s sit down on the couch’ to it. The Purple Kush parent was a wayward cutting that Bethany got by way of a medical patient from California during medical days. Despite the mesmerizing color of the buds and the heavy indica potency she just needed a little more of that special something that makes for a strain we reach for time and again. Pacific Blue crossed into her gave us a whole grove of purple plants to pick from. The keeper from the cross maintained the deep, dark purple hue but put a positive spin on the heaviness of the high – thanks Pacific Blue! The dark purple colored buds, plump crystal covered calyxes, combined with a black currant and Merlot smell makes this new cross a unique addition.

Royal Kush crossed with Grape Ape (Oregon Cut). Both the smell and taste of the inhale is undeniably like grape soda, one of our sweetest flavored offerings. This indica dominant strain has a nice body vibe that floats casually up to relieve the stresses of modern day life. She’s a real looker with bright orange pistols sprouting from petite royal purple calyxes, made lavender by a heavy frosting of trichomes. A beautiful addition to the garden with her bright purple colas in combination with lettuce green fan leaves.

• Indica / Sativa: 20% Indica / 80% Sativa

Tree Octopus is a cross between our Diesel Thai and a very sweet Candy Kush. Tree Octopus is a very focusing and uplifting flower when consumed. The buds are sticky and dense with a great trichome count and decidedly sativa. Expect this flower to have a more playful flavor and scent than other diesel crosses, like she’s trying to be fruity and fun but has a hashy undertone. Make sure you have something to do, it can be a very energizing cultivar. Tree Octopus was named after The Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus (Octopus paxarbolis). Legend has it that Tree Octopi inhabit the very rainiest river valleys on the west slope of the Olympic Peninsula, where it rains so much the trees never fully dry out. Unlike most other cephalopods, tree octopus are amphibious, spending large parts of their life in the rainforest trees.

A cross between Pacific Blue and Gorilla Cookies. You don’t want to miss this one! And yes, she’s another PB baby! We love PB so much we just want to see what she will do with everything else we think is good enough to grow for you guys. This chunky budded selection does not disappoint. Sea Monkey has a very specific smell – somewhere between a bouquet of roses and a newborn baby skunk. The flavor is very similar to Gorilla Cookies, and the intensity of the GC high carried over, making this a very potent smoke. This isn’t a high that creeps up on you, it’s just inhale and hello! What we love about PB and her babies is that she passes on the uplifting, contented ‘everything is alright’ feeling that we seek out when trying to unwind in the evenings after a long day.

A cross between Pacific Blue and Pacific Purple. This was a cross Bethany and Justin were both very excited to make and select. Pacific Blue is a special plant in that she doesn’t often pass her hashy ocean flavor onto the next generation, but she almost always adds an uplifting anti-anxiety happiness and long lasting high. We recommend you carefully grind one of her purple/green buds, then open your grinder and take in several deep inhalations to savor the unique and bright raspberry aroma with a hint of kush. The flavor is just as bright with sharp, sour berry inhale and sweet berry exhale. Her unique coloration grinds into a uniform lavender color. It quickly became a favorite among our crew and friends and the demand from our customers continues to go up. The high from this one-of-a-kind, in-house, multi-generational cross starts out as a nice, chill, happiness but very quickly settles behind the eyes and down the spine into a sleepy fog. Don’t be alarmed if you smoke some Deep Sea and wake in the morning to find you never made it to bed but just dozed off peacefully right there on the couch.
